The Jiangsu Program for International Expertise in Training Primary and Secondary School Teachers, is hosted by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, funded by a special provincial financial grant, and specifically organized by JESIE. The program invites experienced foreign teachers to provide short-term English and subject training for teachers in primary schools, secondary schools, and kindergartens, aiming to update teaching philosophies, enrich classroom methods, and enhance teaching standards in Jiangsu.

Since its implementation in 2004, the program has recruited over 1,700 foreign teachers to train 67,000 educators across Jiangsu. Initially focused on English, the training now includes STEM subjects, broadening teachers' international perspectives and enhancing the quality of education. This initiative has become a key and highly regarded project in the internationalization of Jiangsu's teaching staff, earning widespread acclaim and having a lasting impact.
