Department of International Relations & Project Development (DIRPD) of JESIE was established in 2014, taking charge of international relations development and maintenance and undertaking Discover Jiangsu Youth Leaders Cultural Immersion Programme.

At present，DIRPD keeps sustainable cooperation with education administrative departments and educational organisations of countries and regions all over the world, including U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, Netherlands, Spain and etc. A bond with countries along the route of “The Belt and Road” has been developed since 2016. So far the partnership of more than 100 pairs of sister schools  has been established with the assistance of DIRPD.
