Yangzi High School Affiliated to Nanjing Normal University is a high-ranking, four-star, national model public high school in Jiangsu Province. It currently has 40 classes with a student body of 1666. In over 30 years, Yangzi High School has won many awards, including winning the High School Comprehensive Evaluation Award 11 consecutive years since 2004. The school values athletic achievements and regularly competes in the Provincial Olympic Contests, winning many prizes in the last two years. Along with providing high-quality academic education, the school also promotes many club activities, optional curriculum, expert speakers, art festivals, sports meets, and science festivals.  Our school aims to create an environment in which students can develop and showcase their individuality. During the Nanjing YOG, our student volunteers constructed two cultural booth for Montenegro and Japan, which were warmly received by the President of the Republic of Montenegro and highly praised by the officials of the Japanese Olympic Committee. The schools reputable teaching staff has a high level of professionalism. Among 168 full-time teachers, all of whom have Bachelors' degrees or above, 3 teachers are of special-grade, 1 has a PhD degree, and 41 have masters degrees, and 2 won the title of Jiangsu Province 333 high-level training targets. Provincial star teachers also make up a great proportion.
